From a humble beginning in 1987 with only 1 factory with 4 lines, Koon Seng is now entering into our 4th decade of successful rubber glove manufacturing business supported by our modern Factory 2 (F2) strategically located in Tangkak Industrial Park, Johor. This was attributed by the overall growth in the global demand for rubber gloves, aging world population and increase in health awareness. F2 is also to cater for the overwhelming demand of our rubber gloves, and we have also introduced our best seller gloves at F2 by producing high quality medical Nitrile Powder free gloves.
The strong demand for our rubber gloves has been the driving force for us to supply our high-quality gloves to the overall healthcare services to our customers all over the world, stretching from USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America and Australasia. Today, I am happy to announce that Koon Seng has expanded our product range immensely to a whole wide range of highly demanded products like Latex Powdered and Powder free gloves, Nitrile Powder free gloves and Specialty gloves.
We are committed to total customer satisfaction by identifying their specific needs, translating them into quality products and providing efficient and reliable after-sales-services. This commitment is also the cornerstone of our Quality and Social Responsibility Policy, and we strive to achieve it by putting into place a strict Quality System, which adheres strictly to the ISO 13485 Quality Standard, and social responsibility compliance which adheres to SEDEX. Koon Seng’s business philosophies are strongly founded on 3 key words QUALITY. TRANSPARENCY. PARTNERSHIP.
We will also continue to strive for higher goals and continue to provide good career path and greater benefits to all our employees by providing them all forms of trainings in self- development and technical programs.
Last but not least, I am also happy to announce that as part of our aggressive expansion program, we are currently building our F3 in the same vicinity. Phase 1 of our F3 is supported by another 4 highly efficient and modern production lines. With the completion of the 1st phase, it will add another impressive 80 million pieces of medical grade Nitrile gloves to our capacity per month starting in the 1st quarter of 2020.
